Eamonn Holmes has opened up about living with chronic pain and revealed what he believes is the reason for his on going issues.
The 61-year-old said he started experiencing pain after he "mysteriously" dislocated his pelvis, which then led to back problems.
The This Morning presenter has been very honest about his ordeal by speaking about it live on TV and admitted that living with chronic pain has left him struggling to sleep.
Eamonn went to hospital for an MRI scan, and though he hasn't yet shared the results, he's now shed some more light on his situation.
He told The Irish Independent : "I mysteriously dislocated my pelvis and I don't know how — it's not as erotic as it sounds.
"My back is now out of alignment as a result."
He has been having physiotherapy and ice cold showers to ease his suffering.
But Eamonn admitted that the chronic pain "hurts like hell".He added: "Nobody knows what it's like unless they live with someone who has it.
He added: "Nobody knows what it's like unless they live with someone who has it.
"I'm in huge pain and nobody knows how to stop it.
"This hurts like hell and I need to find a way to overcome it. It has lasted a month and it feels like I can't remember what life was like without the pain."
Eamonn had some happy news this week as he revealed he is going to be a grandad.
He shared his announcement on This Morning with his wife Ruth Langsford by his side, revealing his son Declan and his daughter-in-law Jenny are expecting a baby.
Eamonn said: "And they have just announced that I, together with Valerie and Robin, Jenny's mum and dad, and Gabrielle, Declan's mummy, we're all going to grandparents! I'm going to be a granddad!"
Ruth began clapping and said that she "loved it".
