Eamonn Holmes looked well on the road to recovery as he relaxed over the bank holiday in Scotland following a tough few months suffering chronic pain from a dislocated pelvis.
Wearing a blue V neck jumper in a nod to the Scottish flag, the veteran telly presenter looked relaxed on the golf course and later outside Ayrshire poet's Robert Burns' cottage with his crutch in full view.
He could also been seen wearing a mask in one photo, complying with the country's Covid regulations.
Taking to Twitter to share his story the TV host told his 1 million followers, he wrote: "Determined to still get around. Been to Bonnie Scotland over the Bank Holiday. Crutches and all..."
The 61-year-old television presenter began suffering with agonising pain earlier this year, telling This Morning viewers: "About a month ago I did something to my back, I don't know what. It could have been getting into a car, getting out of bed, whatever."
In April the agony got so bad while filming the show that Eamonn returned to the set with a walking stick before chatting to members of the public about suffering chronic pain.
Following a MRI, doctors were eventually able to get to the bottom of his agony and diagnosed the star with a dislocated pelvis.
Eamonn then revealed that he also had three slipped discs in his back and was doing everything he could to alleviate the pain.
The host said: "The humbling thing about this is when you go on social media you talk to people about who suffers from this you realise age isn't a barrier, where you live isn't a barrier, how much you earn isn't a barrier…
"So many of you have this chronic pain from all sorts of different sources."
Eamonn has now revealed that the chronic pain is finally gone thanks to a slew of treatments including steroid injections revealed to his Twitter followers that he finally felt like he was 'making progress'.
The broadcaster's latest health update came shortly after it was revealed that the ITV star and his wife would not be returning to present This Morning during the half term.
Although ITV had previously said that Eamonn and Ruth would continue presenting through key holidays, it appears that Dermot O'Leary and Allison Hammond will be stepping in for the much-loved duo.

However fans flocked to Twitter to express their dismay, with one tweeting: "@thismorning originally stated @EamonnHolmes & @RuthieeL would be covering all school holidays...
"Just seen announced will he Dermot & Alison next week, no disrespect to them but this is so disappointing #ThisMorning."
Replying to Eamonn's Scotland post one follower vented: "Miss you and Ruthie on This morning. It's not the same. We were promised as viewers to have you two presenting in the holidays. We feel cheated."
