Eamonn Holmes says things 'aren't good' as he shares health update with fans

Eamonn Holmes has said things 'aren't good' as he updates his fans on his battle with chronic pain.

The This Morning star has been seeking help for the problem after he "mysteriously" dislocated his pelvis, which has then subsequently caused his back problems.

Eamonn, 61, also ended up in hospital earlier this month with the condition after he was left in the worse pain he's 'ever experienced'.

Opening up about the excruciating pain he's still enduring at the moment, Eamonn told fans in his latest health update that he's "laid up".

In a video posted to his Twitter account, the presenter explained: "Morning everyone. I’m here laid up at home on the couch with my three discs out on my back.

"I thought I was turning a corner yesterday, I thought I was getting better but I don’t feel good today.

"Today has really not been a good day."

Eamonn had to be aided by a walking stick while on This Morning (ITV)

He added: "As a matter of fact, things all around aren’t good."

It comes after he said at the start of the week that "for the first time in 5 weeks I feel good."

He thought the steroid injections he had last week "must be kicking in" before adding: "The comeback starts here....... I hope."

Eamonn's wife Ruth Langsford also spoke about her husband's health issue on Loose Women this week.

During a discussion about "pain-somnia" the TV star said: "He's having a lot of physio two injections in his back.

"It's difficult dealing with that pain when you're not sleeping. It affects whole family, affects when you are working."

Ruth later said: "Eamonn getting two or three hours sleep if he's lucky."
