Eamonn Holmes has revealed he hides crisps imported from Northern Ireland from his wife Ruth Langsford.
In a chat with Vicky Pattison in her podcast, the Belfast-born TV presenter told all on his favourite crisps and why he keeps them on the down-low from Ruth.
When Vicky - who told Eamonn he is her favourite person in showbiz - suggests watching a John Wayne marathon with some crisps together after lockdown, Eamonn said: “I love a bit of Wotsits.
"I actually have my crisps imported from Northern Ireland, do you know that?"
Vicky replied: “Do you do Taytos? That’s when you know you’ve made it mate - when you get foreign crisps.”
He added: “I get special shipments.”
Vicky asked what Ruth thought about these special deliveries, with an aggravated Eamonn saying: "Ruth goes, ‘What is this in the post?! What is this!?’
“And I go, it’s something for the dog, I have no idea, I’ll chuck it in the garage.
"There’s a stash in the garage she doesn’t even know about.”
Also on 'Vicky Pattison: The Secret to Longevity', Vicky discussed the Northern Irish star trimming down with the help of walking his rescue dog, Maggie.
Eamonn revealed being on breakfast TV and constantly on-the-go made it hard to eat healthily.
"The biggest thing that helped me lose weight was not doing breakfast television any more, not to be going to bed at 11 o'clock, getting up at 2.30, 3 o'clock, snacking throughout the day, running on adrenaline, you know your body is really messed up with it," Eamonn said.
