Eamonn Holmes has thanked viewers for 'record' figures on GB News over his first week.
The Belfast broadcaster began his new breakfast show with co-host Isabel Webster on Monday, January 3.
On Friday, Eamonn tweeted: "As we reach the end of week 1, we are indebted to you for record @GBNews figures.
"So have your breakfast with us on TV or Radio... DAB+ Radio, TV Freeview 236, Sky 515, Virgin 626, You View 236 or Free Sat 216. More changes next week as we are both on air from 6 to 9.30 am."
After his first show, the TV presenter reflected on how 'history' was being made.
He said: "Folks, thank you for getting behind me for the new breakfast show. A lot of people are working hard to give you a show where your views are a big part of the news.
"I hope you stay with us from 6.30 - 9.30 as we begin simulcasting on both TV and DAB Radio. Making History."
Eamonn and Isabel have been inundated with well wishes from fans over the week - some saying how the duo are 'brilliantly paired' together.
One social media user added: "The show is getting better minute by minute."
Another said: "Two mornings on the trot I've switched on @EamonnHolmes & @IsabelWebster_. Thank god for a decent morning show back on the air!"
A third added: "I'm loving the morning shows with you two, a great first week, well done guys."
Others have criticised the 62-year-old for joining the channel.
Eamonn responded: "The breakfast show is straight down the middle."
