Eamonn Holmes has shared a health update after he ended up in hospital earlier this month.
The ITV presenter had been suffering with "excruciating pain" that led to sleepless nights and said it wasn't like anything he'd felt in his life.
Appearing on Loose Women today alongside his wife Ruth Langsford, Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon, Eamonn revealed he had three slipped discs.
"I've been concerned about your back, I've been worried about you," Joe said to his co-star.
Before adding: "We've been thinking about you, there's nothing worse than seeing you in pain because you're such a jolly fellow."
Responding, Eamonn explained: "I'm not one to complain, I don't like talking about myself and I don't like complaining, but Joe it's three slipped discs."
The 61-year-old then revealed he was on crutches, telling the panel: "I actually had to come on here with a crutch, that's the way I am at the moment. It's pretty bad.
"I'm having steroid injections and everything is okay and hopefully I'll be on the mend."
Eamonn also discussed his recovery, telling viewers at home that he was six weeks down the road with it.
He added: "I'm going to embark on a whole rehabilitation programme, I'll get fit, I'll get strong but it will take a while."
Ruth then said that although Eamonn was alright they both knew there was a long road ahead.
She added: "It's very difficult seeing him in so much pain, you feel a bit helpless actually."
