Eamonn Holmes notices strange addition to This Morning caller's home

Eamonn Holmes was quick to question a This Morning caller today as he spotted something odd in her home.

Lots of us are trying to find joy in lockdown with some people choosing to keep their Christmas lights and decorations up to provide some festive cheer.

And today Eamonn spotted a huge Christmas tree in the background of caller Saffron's home.

Saffron was on the show to speak about her dog's behaviour problems but Eamonn decided to quiz her about her tree before they got onto her dog's issues.

Eamonn said: "Saffron why is your tree still up?"

She replied: "Oh I just love Christmas and thought we needed some more brightness this year."

Eamonn suggested she may as well keep it up for the whole year and she replied: "Yes I think I'll just keep it up now."

Eamonn said: "Yes I just thought I'd ask."

Saffron then went on to speak about her dog Rosie's problems with recall but as the call ended Eamonn addressed her Christmas tree again.

He said: "Saffron Merry Christmas to you, may I be the first to wish you the compliments of the season."

This Morning caller Saffron still had her Christmas tree up (ITV)

Saffron smiled and said: "The same to you too."

And viewers at home were also quick to comment on Saffron's tree.

Lucy said: "Why on earth does that woman still have her Xmas tree up? Looks ridiculous, it’s almost March!!"
