Eamonn Holmes' latest tweet hints at his exit from This Morning

Eamonn Holmes is reportedly set to leave This Morning after 15 years of hosting the ITV show.

The 61-year-old is said to be joining GB News, where he will 'front his own show several times a week'.

The news comes after Eamonn and his wife Ruth Langsford were dropped from their usual Friday slot and replaced by Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond.

A source told the Mirror : “Eamonn’s move to GB News marks the end of an era. He’ll be missed by many ITV viewers but, the truth is, this job offer probably came at just the right moment for both him and ITV. All good things come to an end.”

However, neither ITV nor Eamonn have officially confirmed the news reports.

But in his latest tweet, Eamonn did hint at future projects.

On November 10, Eamonn tweeted: "Food can be a medicine, but it can also be a poison. So how about anyone for an Indian mixed grill to help with protein and iron deficiency?

"The first episode of ‘Improve your Life with Spice’ on my Instagram now."

However, one Twitter user 'Joanna' replied: "Cooking tips, really what next."

Around 20 hours ago, Eamonn responded: "Lots and lots hopefully Joanna."

In September, Eamonn delighted his followers after revealing he is working on a secret project for the BBC.

The 61-year-old shared a photo of himself wearing headphones in a recording booth to Instagram as he told his followers what he was up to.

He said: "Me in my Voice Over booth for a new BBC project coming your way at the end of the month."
