Eamonn Holmes is being treated in hospital for chronic pain after enduring agony like he's 'never experienced,' he revealed.
Posting a selfie from the waiting room, the This Morning host grimaced at the camera while wearing his face covering.
"At Hospital ..... pain like I've never experienced in my life . Need to find out what's causing this.
"Wish me we well," Eamonn asked his online fans followed by a prayer emoji.
The hospital visit comes days after 61-year-old Eamonn told fans he'd be suffering sleepless nights as a result of the chronic condition.
Eamonn also revealed he was having physiotherapy to try and ease the pain.
"Just can't get it to go away," he admitted.
"Sadly so many of you know the feeling. Thanks for sharing your stories. I'm determined to beat this... however much it hurts," he vowed.
The Northern Irish presenter is scheduled to return to This Morning next week alongside wife Ruth Langsford while main presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield take a break for Easter.
Mirror Online has contacted the ITV show for details.
Eamonn first opened up about his secret battle when he took to social media in the early hours to tell his followers he couldn't sleep due to the immense pain he was suffering.
"In that Twilight Zone between Night time and Morning," he wrote. "Anyone else find these Hours the worst.... particularly if you suffer Chronic pain?"
Days later he took to Twitter again to reveal his condition had taken a turn for the worse.

Eamonn revealed he was at an early morning physio appointment in attempt to 'tackle the pain from the night before.'
"Chronic pain. Just can't get it to go away," he explained adding that his body was 'hurting like hell.'
As Eamonn revealed he was in hospital, many of his fans and celeb followers tweeted their support.
BBC Breakfast's Dan Walker wrote: "Hope you find the answer big fella. Take care."

Aled Jones replied: "Sending you all the best."
While former Coronation Street and Loose Women star Sherrie Hewson told Eamonn she was sending him 'oooooodles of love xxxx'.
Eamonn and his wife Ruth Langsford are set to make a welcome return to This Morning next week for the Easter holidays.
The married couple, both 61, used to regularly present the Friday shows as well as Mondays-Thursdays during the half-terms.
However, ITV announced last year that the couple would be replaced on Fridays by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.
The pair still continue to host the show during the half-terms and present for five days that week instead of four, Monday through to Friday.
