Eamonn Holmes in GB News clash over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after 'gruesome twosome' jibe

Eamonn Holmes has been embroiled in a heated TV spat over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, with his GB News co-star appalled by his description of the couple as the 'gruesome twosome'.

With the news that Harry will be back in the UK to attend hid dad King Charles' coronation still fresh in people's minds, the couple have once again become a big talking point on British TV shows, particularly after photos of them at a basketball game at the weekend have circulated heavily online.

But giving his reaction to the shots with a sarcastic sneer, Eamonn remarked: "Here are the gruesome twosome, they are at a basketball game, as you would, because we are all hooked on basketball aren't we?

He continued: ""There they are, and the thing is, when you see the other pictures, everybody around them eats, everyone is just eating, they have food in their hands."

Then taking aim at Meghan specifically, former This Morning host Eamonn added: "But she can sniff a camera lens out from, you know three miles," as co-host Isabel Webster interjected to defend the Sussexes, by replying: "She looks great."

Undeterred by Isabel, Eamonn carried on his tirade, saying: "But she knows where she sniffs the lens." And then, when Isabel described Meghan as "hot," that seen to rile Eamonn even more, as he retorted: "So as long as she looks ok? That is what you are saying, that's because you're superficial. You're superficial, if she was an ugly person, if she was an ugly person you wouldn't be praising her!"

LIke Eamonn, Isabel didn't back down either, firing back: "No, I didn't say that. That is not what I said, that is not what I said, Eamonn Holmes."
