Eamonn Holmes has 'most fun in ages' as he rubs suncream into Ruth Langsford doll

Eamonn Holmes said it was 'the most fun he'd had in ages' after he rubbed suncream onto a blow-up doll that resembled his wife Ruth Langsford.

The 61-year-old television star, who has been married to co-host Ruth, 61, for over a decade, left the panel in stitches when he appeared on the latest episode of Celebrity Juice.

In a clip of the show, Eamonn - who appeared alone on the episode - was tasked with covering a blow-up doll with suncream.

"A bit of fun on a Thursday night," presenter Keith Lemon said.

"All you've got to do is rub some cream on her, all her cracks and crevices, you don't want her burning in the Ibiza sun!'

The This Morning presenter then goes on to rub the cream in the blow-up doll's legs as well as onto the image of his wife's face.

"This is the most fun I've had in ages!" Eamonn admits, much to the hilarity of everyone watching the entertaining scene.

Later, Keith quizzed Eamonn about how he really felt appearing on Celebrity Juice without his wife Ruth.

"Is it weird being here without Ruth? Or are you enjoying it?" Keith asked.

Eamonn suggested that it felt 'nice,' adding: "It's really good, it's lovely being out on my own."

The presenter suggested that his solo appearance was a perfect moment for the star to open up and have a rant about anything he wanted.

"At least you could say whatever you want, let's have a rant from you, what are you not into at the moment? What are you disliking? Ruth?!" the Celeb Juice host added.

Keith also pressed the television star about what Ruth's worst traits are. Her husband dutifully replied: "'Well, she's a stickler for detail and time. She has this thing called misophonia, which basically, if you have a partner or someone in the house breathes, you hate them!"

Eamonn and Ruth have been married for over a decade and have been a staple together on TV for years (ITV)

While Eamonn and Ruth have been married for 11 years, their romance actually started over a decade earlier when the pair met in 1997.

However, the couple decided to keep their romance largely private out of respect Eamonn's ex wife and kids. Finally in 2010, the couple decided to tie the knot at a lavish ceremony surrounded by family and friends.

Eamonn and Ruth have been a staple on British TV screens for years and have even had some hilarious and awkward on-screen rows live on This Morning.
