This Morning fans were left laughing as Eamonn Holmes called out the “depression” of the show and referred to agony aunt Deidre Sanders as “Mrs Misery”.
Married presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford were preparing for a slot about feuding with neighbours and briefly spoke over a video call with Deidre about the segment.
“One cross word and everything escalates,” noted Deidre as she called upon viewers to get in touch over ‘nightmare neighbours’.
“That’s the problem with this show, it’s always depression and angriness and awfulness and rows and she is the purveyor of it all,” said a tongue-in-cheek Eamonn as he pointed at Deidre, “she comes in and spreads it all around there.”

A smiling Deidre shot back: “This is the problem phone-in, Eamonn.”
“Mrs Misery, there,” noted Eamonn.
“A problem shared is a problem halved,” noted a giggling Ruth.
However, Eamonn conceded that neighbours are a difficult issue as they are not easy to be rid of during this.
One person penned on Twitter : “EAMONN BLASTS DEIDRE LIVE ON #ThisMorning ”.

Another fan of the show agreed, writing: “Agreed Eamonn. Deirdre's phone-ins = depressing. #thismorning ”.
Meanwhile, a different viewer commented: “Mr Misery Doctor Chris and Mrs Misery is Deidre [laughing emojis] #ThisMorning ”.
Elsewhere, another This Morning fan tweeted: “Mrs Misery [crying emoji] did that just happen? #ThisMorning ”.
Finally, one viewer of the popular ITV show concluded that they would still enjoy watching Deidre’s segment: “A slagging off your neighbours phone-in. I’ll be here for that #ThisMorning ”.

The laughs were coming in spades from Eamonn on Monday morning as he made viral TikTok nun Sister Monica giggle as he joked about her youthful looks earlier in the show.
Eamonn joked as he introduced Sister Monica: “Sister Monica is 135 years of age.”
Sister Monica laughed in response and he added: “She wouldn’t tell a lie.”
However, viewers were left even more astounded as the nun discussed her skincare regime and her real age.
