Eamonn Holmes has apologised after comparing Dr Zoe Williams’ hair to an 'alpaca' on ITV show This Morning.
The comment was made on Thursday's episode of the programme leaving some viewers angry as they took to social media.
The television presenter appeared alongside wife Ruth Langford to continue fronting the summer run of the ITV morning show.
Dr Zoe appeared on the show via video to tell how your health can benefit from gardening and alpacas.

The Belfast native then told her: "Your hair reminds me of an alpaca today.
"You just want to pet it, don’t you? It’s very alpaca-ish," as Dr Zoe laughed.
She replied to the Northern Irish broadcaster: "Don’t touch my hair," as she pointed her pen at the camera.

One Twitter user reacted to the comment and said: "Really just saw Eamonn Holmes comparing a black woman's hair to an Alpaca."
Another added: "First @EamonnHolmes needs to apologise for his racist comments. This woman’s hair is none of your damn business!"
A third said: "It wasn’t humorous it was vile and unnecessary."

Eamonn later posted an apology on Twitter saying he is "mortified" after the remark was branded as "disgusting" with calls for him to be "fired".
He said: "Hey everyone out there. if my attempt at being humorous with my friend Dr Zoe Williams was misjudged I am mortified and humbly apologise to anyone who was offended."
One fan replied: "Don’t worry about it. Dr Zoe Williams laughed it off and didn’t seem at all bothered," while another added: "You could never offend anyone Darling."
