Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford hailed for helping Rylan Clark through his career

Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford will always have a 'massive place' in the heart of TV star Rylan Clark-Neal.

The reality TV star turned presenter said that the popular presenting duo have always helped him in his career with their kind words, something he admits he is very grateful for.

Speaking to OK! magazine, Ryan admitted that the entertainment industry can come with a lot of ' b*****ness and jealousy' but that Belfast born Eamonn and wife Ruth were always the first to help and credit him for a job well done.

He explained: "In this industry, everyone's so quick to jump on someone when they've done something wrong or f***** up on-air or whatever, but actually not many people tell you when you've done something right.

"I know that sounds strange and I'm not sitting here saying I need to be told I'm doing a good job, but Ruth and Eamonn were always the first two people to either text me or come up to me and say, 'What you did there was brilliant, the way you handled that situation'."

"They were always the first two to go, 'God you did such a great job on that last night, I watching you and God, you handled that interview really well," Rylan admitted.

The 32-year-old said that he appreciated the couple's kindness and their genuine nature.

He continued: "That always sticks with me because it's so nice when people help in this industry.

"There's a lot of b*****ness and jealousy with certain people, a lot of fake friendships I'm sure of, but I've never really been involved in all of that.

"I'm just grateful to do what I do, but Ruth and Eamonn, they're very happy for me which is lovely, it's nice for someone to be happy for you."

"It's always nice to see them and they'll hold a massive place in my heart because they helped me so much at the beginning of my career," Rylan explained.

Eamonn and Ruth were recently replaced as regular hosts of the Friday This Morning show, something which wasn't appreciated by their hundreds of fans.

The duo returned to our screens last week during the Easter break as Eamonn opened up about his chronic pain and finally getting to the root of the issue which has caused him many sleepless nights.

Having underwent an MRI scan Eamonn found the cause of his pain.

He told The Irish Independent : "I mysteriously dislocated my pelvis and I don't know how — it's not as erotic as it sounds.

"My back is now out of alignment as a result."
