Eamonn Holmes and Brendan Rodgers' friendly rivalry after football match

Eamonn Holmes and Brendan Rodgers showed some friendly rivalry over the weekend.

The two Northern Irish men posed together after the Leicester City and Manchester United match on Saturday, with Leicester winning 4 - 2.

Eamonn, an avid Man United fan, posed with the opposing team's boss, jokingly holding his crutch up against him.

The Premier League match took place at King Power Stadium, with Rodgers saying he knew his team had to stay switched on when it came to Ronaldo.

Posting on Instagram, Eamonn said: "Not a good day at The Office. Brendan Rodgers slapped our #manutd backsides . No wonder he's smiling

"Some great goals ... (from us) but well done mate"

One user commented under the post: "2 Legends!"

Another said: "Haha don’t mess with the Man U crutch" with the Belfast man replying: "ha ha..... had other uses today !"

Last week, Rodgers was spotted enjoying a trip down the Co Antrim coast to his hometown.

The Leicester City boss was snapped posing with staff outside a coffee shop in Carnlough on Sunday.

Rodgers smiled with the local fans in front of Twilight Coffee & Bunkhouse, an independent coffee shop and accommodation site in the heart of the village.
