Ealing stabbing: Man knifed to death outside west London station

A man has died after being fatally stabbed outside a train station in west London.

Police were called to Drayton Green Road near West Ealing Station at 1.18am today and found the victim in his car, suffering from a stab wound.

Officers believe the victim, in his 20s, crashed his vehicle into another car while trying to flee the scene.

They believe he had already been stabbed when he tried to drive away. They do not believe that it was a “road rage” attack.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Formal identification has not been made and enquiries are underway to trace and notify next of kin.

A post mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.

No arrests have been made.

The incident is the second fatal stabbing in London in as many days.

On Saturday, a 27-year-old man was stabbed to death at a house party in Whitechapel. Three others were injured but their conditions are not believed to be life-threatening.

Anyone who has information on the Ealing incident is asked to call police on 101 quoting 550/24NOV, Tweet @MetCC or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
