There was plenty on offer in Eaglesham at the weekend as the fifth annual beer festival topped off a great few weeks in style.
Over 3000 people packed into Scotland’s first conservation village on Saturday for a celebration of the best food and drink Scotland has to offer.
That followed a highly successful first Friday night session, which saw 350 patrons kick-off their weekend on a high.
Despite a horrific weather forecast, the event was blessed with good weather throughout, with one or two light showers on Friday doing little to dampen the spirit of those in attendance.
Singer Cara Rose kicked off the entertainment with a beautiful set on the Friday night, showing why she is considered one of Scotland’s best up and coming artists.
She was followed by a double set from Papa Shandy and the Drams, who provided the perfect party atmosphere for a community event.
Saturday saw a blend of entertainment, from live magic, to community choirs and great cover bands.
Second Hand Elastic Band set the tone, before the highly anticipated Mr Wilson’s Second Liners and Tom McGuire and the Brassholes ramped things up a notch with superb live music.
Let’s Get Eclectic had the Jam Tent jumping, bringing the event to a close in style.
Over 30 vendors showcased their wares at the event, with beer, cider, wine, gin, whisky and superb Scottish street food the real star of the show.
