Eagles Zach Ertz lands in the top-2 of the NFL’s most valuable TE’s over the last 3 seasons, per PFF WAR

Zach Ertz is no longer regarded as the best tight end in football but the Eagles star is still among the NFL elite as his position.

Ertz has dropped down the rankings behind the more athletic Travis Kelce (Chiefs) and George Kittle (49ers), but he’s still elite. In a recent look at the most valuable tight ends over the past three seasons via Pro Football Focus WAR, Ertz second on the list, ahead of George Kittle.

A three-time Pro Bowler, Ertz has produced more receptions (525) than any other NFL TE in their first seven seasons.

Ertz currently ranks 2nd on the Eagles’ all-time receptions list, trailing only Pro Football Hall of Famer Harold Carmichael (589, 1971-83). Two seasons ago, Ertz set the NFL single-season record for receptions by a tight end with 116, breaking the record set by Jason Witten.
