Eagles’ WR DeSean Jackson to miss 2-weeks with abdominal strain

The Philadelphia Eagles play two games in the next 11 days, and with the franchise focused on the long-haul, DeSean Jackson will reportedly be sidelined two weeks with an abdominal strain per Tim McManus.

Jackson initially had hopes of playing this week, after having to leave the Eagles Sunday night game against the Falcons with a lower body injury.

The Eagles obviously are choosing to be cautious with Jackson, considering the team plays twice in the next 11 days, including a huge road contest against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football.

Philadelphia could choose to sit Alshon Jeffery as well, after he suffered a calf strain early on against Atlanta as well. The Eagles would then turn to JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Nelson Agholor and Mack Hollins.
