Eagles’ WR DeSean Jackson not expected to practice during early part of the week

A dejected Doug Pederson is addressing the Eagles media during his Monday afternoon presser and it looks like the Eagles’ biggest weapon, DeSean Jackson, may not be available for the Birds trip to Buffalo.

Pederson confirmed that Jackson is not likely to practice during the earlier portion of the week.

Jackson opted out of surgery for the injury, and there’s been some secrecy regarding whether the Eagles star suffered a hernia or simply has an abdominal strain. Jackson hasn’t played since the Eagles week two loss in Atlanta and he exited that game after a handful of plays.

Without him, the Eagles offense has been stymied without a true big-play threat to scare opposing defenses.
