Eagles’ WR DeSean Jackson dealing with sore groin but hopes to play vs. Lions

The news is starting to trickle in concerning the Eagles injured players and the teams apparently has some good news when it comes to DeSean Jackson. The wide receiver logged a handful of plays against Atlanta on Sunday night, before leaving the game with a groin injury.

Jackson is reportedly dealing with a sore groin and is hopeful he can play against the Detroit Lions next Sunday afternoon at home.

The Eagles may choose to be cautious with Jackson, considering the team plays twice in the next 11 days, including a huge road contest against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football.

During his Monday press conference, Doug Pederson admitted that both Alshon Jeffery and Jackson could have played if the game was a must win scenario.
