Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery expected to play vs. Seahawks despite ankle injury

Despite a nagging ankle injury that has affected his play and his calf at times, Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery is expected to play on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.

Eagles RB Jordan Howard, listed as questionable with a shoulder injury, and WR Nelson Agholor, questionable with a knee injury, are both unlikely to play against the Seahawks, per source.

Running back Jordan Howard (shoulder) has not been cleared for contact yet and is not expected to play according to Adam Schefter. Wide receiver Nelson Agholor (knee) is not expected to play as well.

For the Seahawks, defensive end Jadeveon Clowney met with a back specialist in Philadelphia ahead of Sunday’s tilt versus the Eagles and he’ll be a game-time decision.
