Even while generating the lowest rating since 2003, the Super Bowl still generated 98 million viewers on television alone.
The Philadelphia Eagles are a hot product right now and based off of the ratings, the Birds playoff win against the Chicago Bears and their divisional-round loss to the New Orleans Saints were two of the top-5 watch sporting events so far this year.
Add into the fact that the Eagles Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots was the most-watched sporting event of 2018, and Philadelphia has been a media darling for over two years now.
