Eagles waive Andrew Sendejo

The Philadelphia Eagles have waived veteran safety Andrew Sendejo the team just announced.

With Cre’Von LeBlanc returning and Avonte Maddox able to play safety and the slot cornerback position, the Eagles have the versatility going forward to part ways with Sendejo, while getting back a compensatory pick.

According to Pro Football Focus, Sendejo was one of the lowest graded safeties in football.
