Eagles waive RB Josh Adams

The running back group for the Philadelphia Eagles continues to play out and the latest domino to fall is Josh Adams being placed on the waiver wire according to Mike Garafalo of NFL media.

Adams’s was the Eagles leading rusher last season and will definitely find suitors on the waiver wire immediately on Sunday. With Joe Douglas as the new GM in New York, Adams could be an option to back up Le’Veon Bell also.

Philadelphia has now waived running back’s Donnel Pumphrey and Boston Scott, while Wendell Smallwood awaits his fate.
