Eagles waive injured TE Alex Ellis

The Philadelphia Eagles have waived-injured tight end, Alex Ellis and promoted cornerback Ryan Lewis to the practice squad.

With Dallas Goedert healthy again and the Eagles decimated in the secondary, Ellis was a casualty as Howie Roseman was forced to move some personnel around. Lewis being active will give the Eagles four cornerbacks if Sidney Jones is unable to play.
