Eagles waive former CFL star LB Alex Singleton

Alex Singleton is a pretty damn good football and if he chooses to not return to the Canadian Football League, he should have a list of suitors around the NFL. The former CFL star has been waived by the Philadelphia Eagles one night after posting 15 tackles against the New York Jets.

Singleton had amassed 28 tackles in four preseason games and will definitely help a roster that lacks depth at linebacker.
