The Philadelphia Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers have battled during the first half with the home team holding a 17-14 lead at the half.
Here are three takeaways from the first half.
***
1. Travis Fulgham is a keeper
Cut several times this summer, Fulgham is currently the best and most consistent Eagles wide receiver at the moment.

Fulgham has 5 catches for 67 yards on the day against the Stingy Steelers defense.
2. Miles Sanders is working
Sanders has 7 rushes for 77 yards and 2 TDs, including a career-long 74-yard touchdown run.
Doug Pederson has to continue to feed his star running back.
3. Eagles efficient when it matters
Both teams are 6 of 8 on third downs and Carson Wentz has been steady for the Eagles, but the Eagles have had a few busted coverages that’ll something to watch as the game progresses.
