Eagles vs. Jets preseason game delayed due to weather

The Jets’ preseason finale against the Eagles has been delayed due to inclement weather, New York announced. The game was supposed to start at 7:37 p.m. on Friday.

Instead, the game is expected to kick off at 8 p.m. after heavy rainfall hit MetLife Stadium. That, of course, is subject to change — especially if the stadium’s turf doesn’t cooperate:
