The Philadelphia Eagles are just minutes from kicking off week five of the NFL regular season against the New York Jets, and it’s been confirmed that cornerback Sidney Jones will be active. He reportedly won’t start after spending the week listed as questionable with a hamstring injury.
Jones was forced to leave the Eagles win over the Packers early on with a lingering hamstring issue and he did not return. Philadelphia will dress five cornerbacks for Sunday’s ballgame against the Jets and they include, Rasul Douglas, Orlando Scandrick, Craig James and Ryan Lewis (signed to the practice squad earlier this week).
