Eagles traded a 3rd and 5th round pick to the Lions for CB Darius Slay

The Philadelphia Eagles acquired Darius Slay on Thursday morning and the most asked question centered around the compensation.

According to Adam Schefter, the Eagles got Slay from Detroit without having to part with their 2020 first or second-round pick.

For the Eagles, the first-round pick was pertinent and still allows Howie Roseman and company to target a wide receiver with their pick at No. 21 or the pick in the second round, while still landing an All-Pro caliber cornerback.
