Eagles TE Zach Ertz still not cleared for contact

The Philadelphia Eagles will look to get some work from Zach Ertz this week as the team prepares for the Seattle Seahawks.

Head coach Doug Pederson provided an update on his star tight end, and it sounds like Ertz will probably miss the playoff opener, as he’s yet to be cleared for contact.

The Eagles will hold a walkthrough on Wednesday, as the team ramps up preparation for their rematch with Russell Wilson and company. Ertz missed the season finale against the Giants after suffering a fractured rib in the teams win over Dallas.

Late last week, Ertz was evaluated and a lacerated kidney was discovered.
