The Philadelphia Eagles are hurting after DeSean Jackson’s surgery and according to Ian Rapoport, Jordan Matthews will rejoin the franchise that originally drafted him.
Matthews was one of the receivers we thought the Eagles might have interest in, seeing hows he’s close friends with star quarterback Carson Wentz and is familiar with the Birds offense.
The Eagles announced on Monday that DeSean Jackson was undergoing surgery for a core muscle injury and his timeframe is 4-6 weeks to an indefinite amount of time.
Last season in limited action for the Eagles, Matthews had 20 catches for 300 yards and 2 TDs.
