Eagles sign S Trae Elston, waive LB B.J. Bello

The Philadelphia Eagles made a roster move on Wednesday, signing safety Trae Elston to a deal. To make room on the roster, the Birds waived linebacker, B.J. Bello.

The addition of Elston means that Ryan Cyprien won’t be signing with the team after working out on Tuesday, and it also means that conversations with Malcolm Jenkins aren’t going as well as Eagles fans may hope. Elston played one game with the Birds in 2017, before moving on to the Bills. Elston posted 18 tackles and an interception in 13 appearances with the Bills.
