Eagles sign ex-Giants QB Kyle Lauletta to the practice squad

The Philadelphia Eagles have added a quarterback to their practice squad, but it’s not fifth-round pick, Clayton Thorson. According to NFL agent Mike McCartney, former New York Giants quarterback, Kyle Lauletta, is signing to the Eagles 10 man practice squad.

Zach Rosenblatt of NJ.com confirmed the news.

Lauletta will become the Eagles latest developmental player at the quarterback position. Lauletta is from the area and attended local Downingtown High School in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Lauletta eventually chose to attend Richmond, where he threw for a school-record 10,465 yards and 73 touchdowns. Lauletta was invited to play in the 2018 Senior Bowl, in which he threw for 198 yards and three touchdowns and was ultimately named the game’s MVP
