Eagles sign DE Kasim Edebali and place Joe Ostman on IR

The Philadelphia Eagles signed veteran defensive end Kasim Edebali to a deal on Tuesday, moments after placing Joe Ostman on injured reserve with a torn ACL. The signing of Edebali comes with the team’s preseason opener against the Titans just two days away.

Edebali, a fifth-year pro, has previously played with the Saints, Broncos, Lions, and Bengals. Edebali signed with the Saints as an undrafted rookie out of Boston College in 2014.
