The Philadelphia Eagles made a roster move on Sunday, waiving injured wide receiver Shelton Gibson and signing cornerback Sojourn Shelton.
Shelton, a 5-9, 168-pound cornerback who went to Wisconsin, has spent time with Cardinals and Bengals. For Gibson, it’s the end of the road for a guy who caught 3 passes for 59 yards in the two years he’s been with Philadelphia after being a fifth-round draft pick out of West Virginia.
