Eagles sign CB Cre’Von LeBlanc to a contract extension

Cre’Von LeBlanc may be out with an ankle injury, but he’s definitely in the Philadelphia Eagles future plans after the team announced an extension for the talented cornerback that will keep him with the Birds through the 2020 season.

The scrappy cornerback did his part to help the Eagles 2018 season with big-time plays and physical play at cornerback during a time when the depth chart was decimated by injuries. LeBlanc was claimed off waivers from the Lions during the bye week last November.

In eight regular-season games with the Eagles, LeBlanc had 32 tackles and five pass breakups in 351 snaps.
