Eagles select All-American RB from Clemson in way-too-early 2021 mock draft

The Philadelphia Eagles covet Miles Sanders and plan on turning him into one of the top young running backs in the NFL. Even with Sanders’ unique abilities as a running back, the Eagles love the committee approach and an All-American from Clemson could make things interesting next spring.

In a way-too-early 2021 mock draft from Bleacher Report, Clemson star running back Travis Etienne falls in the Eagles lap at pick No. 21 after he decided to forgo the 2020 draft and return to school.

21. Philadelphia Eagles: Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson

It could allow the Eagles to have a lethal pairing at running back while taking advantage of both their skillsets on low-cost deals.

As a Sophmore on the Tigers 2018 National Championship team, Etienne ran for 1,658 yards and 24 touchdowns.

Last season as a Junior, Etienne was even better as an overall back, finishing with 1,614 yards and 19 touchdowns on the ground and also catching 37 passes for 432 yards and four touchdowns, all career highs.
