Eagles rookie safety Reed Blankenship exits game against Giants with leg injury

The Eagles could be down another safety, as undrafted rookie Reed Blankenship exited Sunday’s matchup against the Giants in the second quarter with a lower-body injury.

Blankenship has two tackles through the first quarter of Sunday’s action and Philadelphia will now turn to K’Von Wallace with C.J. Gardner-Johnson on injured reserve.

Slot cornerback Josiah Scott also can transition to the safety position if needed.
