Perception is always the reality in the NFL and just a week after sliding way down in the power rankings, the Eagles made a huge jump for week five, thanks to their beatdown of the Packers on the road. This week the Eagles re-entered the top-ten, at No. 9 on the list, after falling to 18 last week.
In the NFC East, the Cowboys fell to No. 6 after their Sunday night loss to the Saints and will face the Packers this week in a crucial matchup for both teams. The Giants dropped to No. 25 on the list, while the struggling Redskins landed at No. 31.
The New England Patriots remained at No. 1 on the list following their win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. They were followed by the Chiefs, Saints, Lions, and Packers, who rounded out the top-five.
