Eagles RG Brandon Brooks named to PFF’s 2019 Midseason NFL All-Pro Team

The Philadelphia Eagles have one of the NFL’s top offensive lines and a lot of the credit, especially this season, should go to right guard Brandon Brooks. Brooks is not only the best right guard in football, but he’s also one of the games best offensive linemen and a top 60 player overall.

Brooks is less than a year removed from tearing his Achilles tendon, and now according to Pro Football Focus, he’s a midseason All-Pro.

RG BRANDON BROOKS, PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Honorable Mention: Zack Martin, Dallas Cowboys
Brooks’ dominance has been taken to another level this season. The perennial Pro Bowler leads all guards in both pass-blocking grade (87.9) and run-blocking grade (86.4). There’s no question who the best guard in football has been this season.

Brooks landed the top spot ahead of Dallas Cowboys right guard, Zach Martin. Brooks is also the only Eagles player on the midseason list, with Carson Wentz and Patrick Mahomes likely finishing behind Russell Wilson and Dak Prescott at quarterback.

Zach Ertz, Fletcher Cox, and Lane Johnson were also notable omissions from their respective positions.
