Eagles’ RG Brandon Brooks is second-highest graded OL in NFL behind Cowboys’ La’el Collins

Brandon Brooks’s comeback from a torn Achilles was already special because of the timeline in which he was able to return to the field. It has even more meaning for the Eagles star, now that Pro Football Focus has recognized him for his strength and versatility at right guard.

Not only is Brooks the highest-rated guard in the NFL, but he’s also the second highest-rated offensive linemen in the league, behind Dallas Cowboys right tackle, La’el Collins.

Brooks is currently up 13 points from last season, and he has his highest grade since the Eagles Super Bowl season in 2017. Most Achilles tears require a recovery time of 8-9 months and maybe more depending on the size of the athlete.

Brooks was able to return to the Eagles after a six month recovery time that saw him sprinting after five months.
