The Eagles just created $9 million in salary-cap space by restructuring the contract of defensive tackle, Javon Hargrave.
Cap Number: $15,200,000
Cap saving with restructure: $8,820,000
Cap Saving with extension: $9,408,000
The 28-year-old defensive tackle should breakout in 2021 and he’s an integral part of the Eagles’ future after signing a three-year, $39 million deal last offseason.
The restructure/extension will be similar to Kelce’s and is more about cap relief than anything else.
