The Philadelphia Eagles just made an announcement, confirming that star wide receiver DeSean Jackson, we’ll have core muscle surgery on Tuesday.
The Eagles reiterated that Jackson and the organization mutually agreed upon putting off surgery the first time he was inured, choosing instead to forgo a rigorous rehabilitation process that saw DeSean miss six straight games.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media is reporting that Jackson’s season is likely over, despite the prognosis of the Eagles star missing 4-6 weeks.
Jackson played only four snaps on the Eagles’ first series of the game, recording a five-yard catch before exiting the game for good.
