Eagles release DB Chris Maragos

The Philadelphia Eagles are continuing to make roster moves on this Friday, and a special teams ace was the next to go. According to the Eagles official Twitter account, the Eagles have released veteran DB Chris Maragos.

Maragos didn’t play at all during the 2018 season after tearing his ACL/PCL in 2017 against the Carolina Panthers and he had a second surgery on the knee this past December. Maragos spent the entire 2018 season on the Physically Unable to Perform List and could possibly never play again.

Maragos, 32, had his deal restructured by the Eagles last August and he’s now set to be a free agent.
