Eagles re-sign TE Alex Ellis to the practice squad

The Philadelphia Eagles announced on Wednesday, that tight end Alex Ellis, has returned to the practice squad after passing through waivers unclaimed.

#Eagles have signed TE Alex Ellis to the practice squad.

Ellis was signed by the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent after the 2016 NFL Draft, after playing collegiately at Tennessee. A talented tight end, Ellis was promoted to the Eagles active roster last week as the third tight end.
