Eagles RB says Corey Clement has regained his Super Bowl form

The Eagles shunned adding a big named running back to the roster choosing to move forward with Miles Sanders and Boston Scott.

One veteran was re-signed and if he can regain his form from two seasons ago, the Eagles could have a dynamic backfield worthy of a top-10 ranking.

After some offers from other suitors, Corey Clement re-signed with the Eagles stating that he had unfinished business in Philadelphia. Now one Eagles running back believes Clement has regained that Super Bowl form.

During a Sunday zoom meeting, second-year running back Miles Sanders was asked about Clement and offered this glowing compliment.

“Corey looks great,” Sanders said. “He looks explosive. He looks like Super Bowl Corey to me.”

After having his restricted free agent tender rescinded, Clement was allowed to walk in free agency after missing the bulk of the season with a shoulder injury. If he can regain his tough running form, the Eagles could have one of the NFL’s more lethal running attacks.
