Eagles’ RB Miles Sanders provides an update on his status for game vs. the Bears

The Philadelphia Eagles are returning a lot of important pieces from injury, and one of their most critical offensive weapons was able to avoid serious injury last Sunday.

Miles Sanders didn’t practice on Wednesday, but according to Jeff McLane of The Inquirer, Sanders is feeling better and expects to play in a huge game against the Bears.

Before exiting last Sunday’s win over Buffalo with a shoulder injury, Sanders had three carries for 74 yards and one rushing touchdown. As a pass-catcher, Sanders tacked on three catches for 44 yards against the Bills stout defense.

The Eagles rookie is their most explosive player outside of DeSean Jackson and leads ALL NFL rookies with 709 all-purpose yards. Sanders is now the first NFL running back since Adrian Peterson, to amass 500+ scrimmage yards & 250+ return yards in his first 8 career games.
