Eagles QB Carson Wentz on fatherhood, concussion changing his perspective on life

While the NFL world has been debating the Eagles selection of Jalen Hurts in the second-round, Carson Wentz has spent his offseason studying his craft, recovering from a concussion and welcoming the birth of his first child and baby daughter.

Wentz has been too blessed to stress over Hurts but in his first comments since the NFL Draft, the Eagles quarterback spoke with confidence and like a man who some perspective on life and it’s many challenges.

While addressing the media via a conference call, Wentz spoke about the birth of his daughter adding perspective to his life.

While addressing his concussion suffered at the hands of Jadeveon Clowney, Wentz admitted that he was concerned about his brain and disappointed with having to exit his first playoff start.

Wentz went on to speak about already entering the 2020 NFL season motivated and the selection of Jalen Hurts not really playing a factor in his preparation for the upcoming season.
